We do minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, and the range of procedures is very wide. We help essentially every specialty in the field of medicine — either it can be for placement of a catheter for their treatments, venous catheter, or treating an aneurysm or treating a liver tumor. It’s a very wide variety of applications.

All of our doctors in our division have clinic days. So we explain the procedures, describe the treatment process to the patients in the clinic. I like to give them time to understand the process and ask any questions that they may have, because ultimately the goal is to have the patient feel comfortable about the treatment and have full understanding of what they’re going to go through. And once they’re treatment is performed, we also bring them in for follow-up. So we assume follow-up of a lot of our oncology patients, especially. When they undergo an embolization of a liver tumor, we’re the ones who follow them up on a regular basis, and if there’s a need for additional treatment, that is not delayed. So we can recognize it immediately and then do the repeat treatment as necessary.
