Abstract Submissions

Abstract Guidelines

The recommended abstract length is 250 words or less, excluding the title and authors’ names. Abstract titles should be descriptive (200 characters or less). Tables and figures are not allowed. The primary/submitting author will receive an email message confirming the receipt of the abstract. Please notify your co-authors that the confirmation was received. If a trainee is submitting the abstract, a practicing physician is required to be listed as a senior author.

Procedures & Deadlines

• All abstracts must be received by Monday, June 3, 2024. Abstracts are approved for presentation and inclusion in the annual scientific program at the recommendation of the 2024 Program Committee.
• Disclosures for ALL authors/co-authors are required within the submission form as well as their institutions, city, state, country, etc.
• Do not include tables or figures in your abstract.
• Abstracts topics should be related to portal intervention (embolization, TIPSS, BRTO etc).
• Please only note the authors and institution names in the specified fields within the abstract form.
• Complete instructions for speaker and paper presentation will be provided upon notification of a paper’s acceptance.
• Submissions of presentations that are commercial in nature are not allowed.
• Submissions funded by commercial companies are allowed as long as their submission is presented in a scientific format without advertising and commercial support must be identified in a disclaimer at the start of the presentation.

Among the submitted studies some will be chosen for oral presentation during scientific sessions and additional studies will be chosen for electronic computer-based presentation at the exhibit hall. The detailed instructions for each type of presentation will be provided to authors of the accepted studies.
