Khashayar Farsad, MD, PhD

Khashayar Farsad is the Josef Rosch Professor and Interim Chair of Interventional Radiology at the Dotter Interventional Institute. Dr. Farsad is a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology (FSIR) and actively serves on committees through the American Board of Radiology (ABR), the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), the American College of Radiology (ACR), and the American Association of Digestive Disease Interventions (ASDDI). Dr. Farsad’s areas of clinical and academic interest include interventional management of portal hypertension, image-guided treatment of solid organ malignancies, and endovascular venous reconstruction. As Director of the Dotter Institute, Dr. Farsad oversees the research activities of the Department of Interventional Radiology, including clinical trials and translational research programs.
